Corruption in KU

Perhaps KU is the only one organization where Managers, Executives, Controllers and senior professors can resort to corruption without any fear of questioning and investigation. Moreover, KU is different from the Pratinidhi Sabha also, so there is no chance anybody would raise questions on how some of the so called makers of KU are exploiting KU. If we believe the current propaganda of Suresh Raj and Sitaram, they are bitterly complaining that the honest faculty members who fearlessly questioned them are KU defamers. Their relatives and some other so called students, who have more in stake with the perpetuation of Suresh Raj and Sitaram in KU, are being instigated by Suresh Raj and Sitaram against the fearless fighters of equality and academic values in KU like Sameer Dixit, Ram Prasad, Boris Niroula, and Sijan Baral.

These people in their eagerness of proving everything is hunkydory in KU openly demand for proofs of corruption in KU and proofs of high-handedness of the top authorities of KU. Though, they were shown number of cases where Sitaram and Suresh Raj has directly/indirectly benefitted through henchmen like Bhadra Man, these stooges are not ready to buy the arguments. They feel that Suresh Raj and Sitaram can never preside over such rotten mess as these two people are too honest.

The members of Pratinidhi Sabha, too, feel that the KU is a distant case and they should not touch it. Yeah, when they have members amongst themselves who can change sex for some pecuniary benefits, why they pick up someone from outside and set their anti-corruption tirades against the outsiders. Moreover, some Jokers are always present in main parliamentary parties like Nepali Congress, and UML who are always impressed with construction spree in KU and therefore praise Suresh Raj. However, It has always remained a riddle for what they are praising Suresh Raj: Is it for excellent academic leadership, which Suresh Raj never provided and would never be able to provide, or is it for dexterous corruption schemes with which Suresh Raj is exploiting KU?

If we look at some of the data provided to us, we can guess why our parliamentarians are not raising their voices against Suresh Raj regime in KU. It appears that the academia under Suresh Raj is a learning ground for our parliamentarians also on how to milk the holy state coffer. Fearing that removal of Suresh Raj may deprive them of learning new tricks of corruption, these parliamentarians may have hesitated to raise their voice. Anyway, the salary break-down of Prof.Bhadra(?) Man Tuladhar might have already been provided to these parliamentarians by Suresh Raj for their learning experience. However, we feel that no body in KU should milk the KU this way. Don’t believe me! Have a look at the salary break down of Prof. Bhadra Man Tuladhar.
