Historic CA election is under process today. People, all over Nepal, have shown enthusiastic response to participate in this election.Nepal's electronic media have witnessed high traffic volumes and as a result popular Nepali blog Mysansar has to open up temporary blog Mysansar Tempto divert the visitors' traffic. Similarly, Kantipur online, too is also not loading as smoothly. Please see some photos from MySansar's temporary blog on report of CA election voting.

In breaking news, Voting stalled in Chitwan, Mahottari, Siraha has reported stalling of election process in some booths in Chitwan, Mahottari and Sarlahi. Reportedly, in Chitwan, violence erupted after Maoist chief Prachanda has already cast his vote. See also; Nepal Maoist chief casts vote in crucial polls

Sudeshana Sarkar has reported that"Violence mars historic Nepal polls". Sarkar's news report mentions of scuffle between Maoists and NC workers in Chitaun and UML and NC workers in Mahottari. Similarly, Lila Koirala has survived gun attack in Dhanusha whereas in hometown of PM G.P. Koirala, police diffused a bomb in a polling booth. In Doramba of Rameshchhap and in Rauthat also, some clashes have erupted between the Maoists and security forces.

After King Gyanendra's communique urging Nepalis to participate in this election peacefully, Nepalis are believing that there would be less violence from his side. However, the incidents in Biratnagar and Dhanusha show that Royalists may try to disturb the polling process as much as possible. Hope innocent Nepalis will not have to loose their lives anymore.
