Narahari Acharya starts website

It is really very good to see Narahari Acharya starting his website. Amidst clash, intimidation, violence and murder, here comes one politician with positive campaign. Narahari's popularity has been on rise ever since G.P.Koirala accused him of being a royalist agent. Good name of Narahari Acharya, along with that of Gagan Thapa, was dragged through the muck by nepotist Girija just to promote his daughter. Nepotists everywhere behave the same way. Be it in KU or be it in Nepali Congress, they have same strategy. What I admire the most in Narahari Acharya was his throwing gauntlet for presidency of Nepali Congress. He knew very well that G.P. has a very good stronghold in Congress party. Despite his likely defeat, he fought Girija and forced everyone to admire him. Something like this is really missing in our lives. Many of us allow so called powerfuls to get away easily with their mistakes. We say that "OK let him get away at least he has done something and blah blah blah." This is what is deteriorating our polity, academia and society. However big a person is, he should be punished. Rather punishment should be more intense for hot shots so that others will get a precedence not to repeat the same mistake. I think that after Narahari's challenge to him, G.P. Koirala,too, amended his mistake and nominated Mr. Narahari Acharya as central committee member of Nepali congress.
After challenging G.P. Koirala, Narahari has well informed all of us that he is not going to be cowed down by accusations and conspiracies. We need people like him amongst our politicians. Most of our politicians always lick the boot of party president, or party general secretary. Exactly like HODs, Deans, Registrar of KU, who lick the boot of Suresh Raj Sharma to protect their position, many of our ministers, too, line up before the party functionaries. As a result, we do not have upright politicians in Nepal.
Amidst such crisis, emergence of Narahari is really soothing. After his starting very calm dignified campaign in his constitutency, constituency no. 5 in Kathmandu, he has come up with another round of campaign, i.e. to propogate his ideas through his website. Please visit the website to understand, why we need to elect this clean politician.I, too, sincerely believe that CA without some people like Narahari, Gagan, Shankar Pokhrel, Prachanda, Baburam, Yubaraj Gautam will be meaningless. So, crossing across the party line, Nepalis intellectuals need to inform their friends that in this election, which has to decide the fate of 240 years old Monarchy, we need people from an entire spectrum of political parties.
